Delightful 4th
Jul. 5th, 2007 04:29 pmSomething about having a day off in the middle of the week is excellent for the soul. From sleeping in a bit, to having an extra day to deal with all the little crap that you just can't squeeze into a normal day, to having time to go socialize with people, it is all good. I am all kinds of crazy-tired today, though I suspect that has more to do with staying up a wee bit late than anything else.
I've gotten completely absorbed by knitting the Mystery Stole. I think I'm behind by now - unless I can knit the rest of this clue tonight (which, maybe...) the second clue comes out tomorrow, and I won't be done with the first one. BUT! I have 2 whole days to myself this weekend, so I think I should be able to catch up in time. Fingers crossed! The pattern is beautiful so far, and I think I am going to have to go out and buy her other patterns, especially Scheherazade and Hanami.
I've been frightfully productive at work this week. As much as I hate the early morning for camp drop-off, somehow I seem to be using the time well, or something. Extremely odd for my night owl self.
