I've done 750 in 13 before, although one time, the route was backed up and it took 17...driving by myself, no relief.
Of course, there's also the road trip my dad took, where he could see clouds in the Gulf of Mexico in his rear-view mirror. The clouds were from Hurricane Camille.
But back to the matter at hand. Glad to hear you two made it home safely!
I would drive up to Boston for week stays, so 750 in 13 hours up, stay a few days, drive back down. A lot of times on the drive down, I did have to take a nap in the middle...most famously at the VA welcome center about 9 in the morning.
