If a 175-pound man fell into one end, he would come out the other end as 38 pounds of oil, 7 pounds of gas, and 7 pounds of minerals, as well as 123 pounds of sterilized water.

Combine that with trailer truck sized model they describe, and you have one happy mafia.

A ton a day / 200 lbs per informant = happy Godfather.

I saw this a few days ago, and love the idea. Imagine taking most of our garbage and using it to create something of use. If this pans out the way it's described, our landfills will end up being mined as a resource!

Sewage treatment will heat our homes!

Left over rendering parts will drive our cars!

It's all good.
