sierciaThat is always WAY harder than I expect it to be. Writing to second graders for In2Books, that is.
Remembering to use appropriate vocabulary (without a *good* handle on what they already know), trimming all my sentences down until they fel like little staccato pecks instead of real sentences. Trying to sound bright and cheerful without feeling remarkably dumb.
Eeeesh!
But my letters are written, and hopefully, this is doing good things in a school system that needs it.
