I found the most beautiful love letter on my desk this morning when I came downstairs. I've been smiling all morning.

I think I've figued it out

Part of the reason my tongue hurts so darn much is that I have one of those puffy sore taste bud things right next to where the ball goes. I don't know if the ball is irritating my tongue abd causing it, or if I burned it the other day or what. Between that, and unconsciously keeping the tip of my tongue clamped between my teeth as I'm sitting here (I'm not sure why. Maybe I did it before, too), it's no wonder my poor little tongue is sore.

I am a little less swollen today, though. On no Advil at all.
