Cute Hannah tricks #2567 & #2568

Yesterday, we experienced acute-Mommy-loss for the first time. Acute-Daddy-loss is the distress Miss Widget shows when she's upset because Daddy's leaving. She's never really gotten upset that I was leaving before yesterday. It was sweet.

This morning, Wiley was holding her, and tried to give her to me. She thought he was leaving, and she grabbed onto his shirt with a death grip and would not let go. No crying, no fussing. Just completely attached.

Our birdfeeder has been discovered!

Last week, Wiley bought a birdfeeder. I mean, if you're going to live in the suburbs, you might as well comune with nature, right?

This morning, Wiley came downstairs, and we had a crowd of birds. All morning (or so far, at least) there's been a crowd of starlings feasting out there. Even if I don't like starlings that much, they're still entertaining to watch.
