1. Do you have a car? If so, what kind of car is it?
We have two cars: a 1995 Saturn SW2 (dark green), which at this point has seen better days, but was the first new car either Wiley or I ever owned and a 2002 VW Jetta wagon (silver), which has lots of nice optiones (turbo engine, power everything, sunroof). Also two motorcycles in less than perfect condition - a 1984 Ninja and a 1983 Virago. Wiley mostly uses the Saturn to drive to the train station every day, I use the Jetta for day to day driving, and it's the family mobile.

2. Do you drive very often?
Every day, just about. But most of that is just around town type of driving. My commute is only 5 miles (yes, I've clocked it). That and going to pick Imagy up at the bus stop is most of the driving I do in a day. Most long trips Wiley drives - he likes driving more, and he drives me nuts when he's a passenger.

3. What's your dream car?
1961 Chevy Corvette. In the classic red and white. Someday, one will be mine.

4. Have you ever received a ticket?
Nope. I got my first written warning this past year after 13 years of driving. Stupid unposted roads where everyone speeds.

5. Have you ever been in an accident?
Never when I've been driving. One bad accident when I was a little kid and someone took a left turn in front of my Dad. A few fender benders since then with Wiley driving.

If you were here in Starkville, all the townie boys would love the way you stare

Ever just have a snippet of a song lyric that just grabs you, and doesn't let go? I'm so transfixed by that opening line from the Indigo Girls' song Starkville. I'm not even quite sure wht, but it captivates me.
