Grrrr

If there is anything more frustrating than wasting half your night stitching, then pulling out, then restitching the same part of a pattern, I'm not sure what it is.

Except maybe doing the same thing twice.

Widget's first photo shoot

Hee. That just sounds funny.

Tomorrow I take Widget for her first set of "formal" portraits. I think these will end up being more semi-formal, since my boss's wife (she is a professional photographer) is going to be doing them, and what she was describing as a plan sounded less formal. I can't wait. I think they're going to come out great, and then the whole family will be happy that they finally have "real" pictures of the baby.

In other Widget news, she's learned how to count to ten. I don't think she knows yet quite what they mean, in any real sense, but she can get them in the right order fairly consistently.
