So, I had the customer's data all installed on my laptop. And I'm tinkering with it, and life is good. Gonna pretty it before I arrive on site tomorrow, flawless victory for Jenn, right.

Except, as I'm tinkering, somehow I manage to delete the entirety of the users table from the database. I'm not sure how or why Query Analyzer thought my command was a good one for deleting EVERYBODY, but it sure did. Thank goodness I have a backup of the database here too, even if all my work this afternoon is down the tubes.

Sheesh.

Eeeek

I'm watching the Cubs and the Braves, and my heart's in my throat. I would LOVE to see a Cubs - Sox series, so for the duration, I'm a Cubs fan. Even if the Sox don't make it, I'd love to see the Cubs in it. SO watching this taut little game against the Braves has me vibrating.

Amused today talking to the folks at the paper who, despite being NY folks are hoping against hope that the Yankees lose in three. Not because they're not Yankees fans, but because having to work the extra games (three shooters, plus at least 1 tech, plus coving the shooter's regular shifts, plus having to ship three folks out of town for the away games) makes them absolutely insane and crazy. Amusing how your job can completely color your perspective, eh?

And in awesome news, I *might*, just maybe, here's hoping be getting my mitts on a Sox playoff ticket. Just one, and it's not definite, but cross your fingers that I do, and that Saturday's game is a NIGHT game, so that I can actually go.
