(no subject)

Well, survived the trip to NY. Widget was a champ in the car, behaved beautifully, no temper tantrums, no fits, slept for a couple hours. Rest of the trip was stressy in the way that family visits can be. Actual thanksgiving wasn't too bad, even if there were marshmallows on the sweet potatoes. I insisted on making green bean casserole (which Kate had never had, I don't think!) and the rest of it was close enough to "normal" that it was okay.

Glad to be home, ramping up for the trip to York PA next week, trying to finish getting the Christmas stuff organized so that I can enjoy the holiday =)
