Books are all out, and I even have about 2 books worth of space left over. Clearly, now I need to start accumulating books again ;)
Looking over my titles, all I can say is... I'm a big geek. Lots of obscure history titles that I just can't bear to part with. Culled about half a box of books out of the collection - not much, but it's a start. Now that they're all out, I'd like to try to arrange them by genre/subject matter. At least to the point of fiction being in one spot, history in another (sorted roughly), that sort of thing. Wiley's comment on that was "Tell me when, so I can plan a trip". Heh.
In other happenings this weekend, we also completely re-arranged our "office" so Widget could have more room to play. Largely inspired by the aforementioned alphabet puzzle mat, I wanted to give her a larger and more definable space in there to be her play space. We'd previously put her toybox in there because it kind of made sense (mostly the we don't have anywhere else to do it sense). Now she's kind of got one whole corner of the room to herself. She seems to like it, and I just have to finish cleaning/organizing in there. Now that the books are out of the closet, I can put in the storage shelves that I want. And so I move one step closer to this being the kind of house I want. Baby steps.
Now if only I could get this damned low grade headache that's been plaguing me all weekend to go away, I'd be all set.
