Frightening realization

So, watched a movie on HBO last night while zipping through a small knitting project. Hadn't quite finished the project when the movie ended, ut I was close. SO, rather than finding something else to watch on TV, I just left it on HBO. So, focused on knitting, half an ear to the tv, 'kay?

And it's some random production of musical theater.... a version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde... with David Hasselhoff. And it was bad. BAD. Gouge out your eardrums bad. Which, of course, attracted my attention.

That's when I was hit by the terrifying realization... In weird stage makeup, David Hasselhoff bears a stunning resemblance to my brother when he's painted up with stage makeup.

And then I laughed my way off to sleep.

More Widget ramblings

This morning, she started to ask me a fairly complicated question. I don't remember what it was, but it had at least three distinct thoughts / clauses to it. About 2/3 of the way through she got all mixed up and started again. And again. And again.

On the third time through, she stopped, did this little hands up to her face gesture and muttered to herself "Argh! I'm messing up the whole conversation!"

I about fell off my chair laughing, and helped her figure out what she was trying to ask.
