Tag sale?

So, in our declutering, we're getting to the point of discarding things that might have actual value - actually, I suspect I passed that point a bit ago, but that's okay.

I'm not really up for trying to eBay stuff, with all the having to go to the Post Office and crap that goes along with it. I'm wondering if having a tag sale might be a better way to go. If I decide it is, does anyone else Boston-ish want to join forces?
