Indeed. 6 hours from WPB under normal conditions, but if they're evacuating, I'd figure at least 9 to Jax. She's from west Georgia, so it'd feel homier to Shani than it would to you. Not that you shouldn't expect the company to pay for whatever expenses you incur fleeing Frances, of course, but a friendly stranger exists if you need one. Orlando is the usual evac destination, because it's reasonably high ground for Florida (and there are enough hotel rooms), but they took such a hit from Charley last month they may not be prepared to handle it. Jax almost never gets a storm dead on, because the Gulf Stream is so far offshore there, it steers things into NC.
And if you drive back, you have to stop in Philly and say hi. :)
