siercia*sigh* What a way to end the week. Wiley's uncle died yeaterday morning, so he's off to New York for four days tomorrow morning. It wasn't unexpected, and at least we got up there to visit with the baby while he was still aware and so he got to meet her. I know he's sad about it, they were quite close. Part of me wishes the baby and I could go, part of me is glad to not be going up. It's a long trip, especially grueling when we have to haul the baby with us. As glad as I am to not have to deal with the emotional mess of the funeral and all, I'm also not looking forward to 4 days of on-my-own baby care. It'll be a miracle if we both survive this.
