For example
Feb. 19th, 2002 10:25 pmToday, I said to Wiley, "I think I'd like to make chicken tetrazzini with the leftovers from the other night for dinner. Sound good?" And he says back "Yeah! Sounds great!" So I call my mom to try and get the recipe, and leave a message, asking her to call me back.
Later in the day, Wiley asks if I talked to my mom, and I tell him I had, and gotten the recipe. And he says "Great, 'cause I'm looking forward to tetrazzini." Something in the way he says this makes me think that he actually doesn't *know* what it is I'm planning for dinner, so I ask him. And he answers "Ummm, chicken, tetras and zini's?"
That's what I mean about loving his enthusiasm. Even for the small things, he just assumes it'll be great. It makes me smile.
