In the end, I stayed in for most of the day. Made myself a fantastic zucchini, ham and goat cheese frittata like thing for breakfast. Finished my book. Cleaned the kitchen a little. Started to clean the bedroom and quickly realized that the heat was making that a bad idea.

I ended up spending a couple hours making friends with my spinning wheel instead. Since I took my class last year, I've struggled with being able to get started and fixing it when the yarn broke. Last week I was leafing through a spinning book at Circle's, and found a way to address the problem. I tried it today and it worked well. I ended up with about a half bobbin spun up in an hour or so. [livejournal.com profile] lorac, William and Katie dropped off the CSA box and we visited for a little while - I think we're going to go out for Vietnamese food tomorrow evening.

After they left I had a big salad with roasted beets and blue cheese, eating up more of LAST weeks veggies. Wandered off to knitting which was a lovely small group and then out for sushi with a couple of the other knitters. Yum sushi.

Now, I need go drain the coffee toddy and then I think I'm going to go read in bed until I pass out.
