Most of the "airport" hotels at Denver are 12 miles away. You might as well drive the 30 minutes from downtown Denver.
There's a couple of hotels including the Adams Mark that are right on the 16th Street Mall in Denver. There's a free shuttle bus that runs the length of the mall if you don't feel like walking and plenty of places to eat.
