Yeah, I've been to Denver a number of times. Those times were all on the *paper's* dime, this one is on the company's, so a $200 hotel is .right.out. Which stinks, because all the easy close-by hotels are in that range, and I like being able to wander around the 16th St. mall area.
But, yes, it seems you are 100% correct on the whole concept of the airport hotel not being all that close. I'll just stay at the same place and make the drive in the morning.
