My company is so scattered across the country (Developers in Toronto, Seattle, Vancouver; sales staff in Georgia) that there are some members of our team that, while we talk to them every day, we only see face to face once or twice a year (and some that I've never met, despite working here for 4+ years). This week, out lead developer and CTO has been in town for brainstorming sessions about our newest BigSpecialProjectTM. I always forget just how much fun it is to have him around. He's incredibly intelligent, funny and well-read, he's a coding God, and altogether just fun to have around. Not to mention how much easier it is to get assistance from him when he's here and you can commandeer his brain for the 3 minutes it takes for him to figure out the issue.

It's made this week very pleasant, and I'm going to miss him. *pout*

I try my first yoga class ever today. It's one of those things that I've always wanted to do, and found excuses (no time, too expensive, blah blah blah) to not do. Well, [livejournal.com profile] imagine77 and I start tonight. Hopefully I won't end up like a little pretzel. Tomorrow I get to go shopping with Miss [livejournal.com profile] imagine77, and then my brother comes up for the weekend. We get to introduce both him and my Dad to geocaching.

I shall miss him. I wish they had gone further in their thoughts of moving to the area. Wonder where they left that, with Andrew's dad gone...

Hope your yoga class went really well. I find it to be so relaxing!
