We just got word on Miss Lorac's kitty. It's cancer, malignant, of the worst type that he could possibly have. The only option the vet knows of is surgery, and they weren't sure even what the prognosis would be, even if she does choose to do the surgery.

Crap crap crap crap.

Hey, talk to Kay about treatments...her cat, Jinx, had cancer...she had surgery and chemo treatments and radiation treatments or sorts...there may be more to do than just surgery...but it'll cost some...

The vet said that the type of cancer that this is has proven to be very non-responsive to chemotherapy and radiation treatments, so they don't think there's any answer but surgery. The vet was going to spend some time today researching alternatives and success rates, but it doesn't look very good.
