Wiley's off gallivanting with his friends for today and tonight, so I had Widget for most of today and the overnight. It went mostly okay, at least partly because I had a lovely Miss Shani around to keep me company and distracted. We went to Jo-Ann's today to find the backing fabric for her quilt project, and she picked out a lovely fabric for it. I bought a bunch of little things, not the least of which was supplies to finish the sachet Christmas presents I'm making. I really want to get them finished so I can get started on Elaine's gift, but I think everyone was right (thanks for the votes, guys) in suggesting I finish those first, they have much more of a deadline. So, I'm going to spend my evening hemstitching, beading and hopefully piecing together the sachet-shells, as it were, and then this week will put the insides together, and I'll at least have the one's for my me-mere and Wiley's grandmother done. Then I'll do my mom's and we'll see what happens from there. Whee!

29. When was the last time you voted at the polls? Presidential election 2000. Couldn't vote last year because my registration was all snafu'd

31. Have you ever won a trophy? Nope.
32. Are you a good cook? Yes. Well, a competent one, and I can follow every recipe I've ever tried.
33. Do you know how to pump your own gas? Of course. Are there people who don't (of driving age)?
34. Ever order an article from an infomercial? Ummmm, no.

36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? Yes but not for a long time, and only for one summer.

38. Ever throw up in public? Yes once, after eating something that didn't agree with me, and having a little too much wine at Vinny Testa's. In a bathroom stall, not in the open.
39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love? I don't think "true love" exists, so I'll take the cash.

41. Ever call a 1-900 number? Nope. Well, unless you count the pay 1-800 number that's only one digit off from my calling card phone number.
42. Can ex's be friends? Absolutely. Assuming they can both act like adults.
43. Who was the last person you visited in a Hospital? Wow, I have no idea.
44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby? I did.
45. What message is on your answering machine? Whatever scirocco has it set to.

47. What was the name of your first pet? Counting my parent's house, Old Lady, a cat. Of my own, Tuna, also a cat.
48. What is in your purse? Wallet, cell phone, pager, lip balm, random papers, keys.

50. What is one thing you are grateful for today? That I have a beautiful healthy daughter, and wonderful friends.
