Update, the personal edition

Let's see... It's been a crazy work week, it's finally the weekend, and I'm not relaxed yet. The weather has finally turned cold, and my body is so confused, especially after the uber-warm weather in Tampa this past weekend. I think I'm finally adjusting to it though. My maple tree in the front yard is turning all red and yellow, and it looks lovely. There's a bunch of yard work to be done to prep my lovely flower beds for winter, too. And I need to get someone in to sweep the chimney so that we can actually use it this winter.

This weekend looks to be very pleasant though. Tomorrow, Miss Lorac is coming over to hang out for Saturday night. We'll play with the baby, we'll have some dinner, we'll stitch (I promised to do french knots for her), and maybe I'll try to make a tin lantern for the lantern parade. I bought some yummy looking Tuna steaks for dinner tomorrow, and it'll be so nice to see my Carrie.

Sunday, my dad is coming up, and we're going to try to go for a hike in the Blue Hills, then he offered to take us out to dinner, then we're going to participate in the JP lantern parade tomorrow evening. All quite relaxing, all fun stuff. Hopefully, I've gotten all my work loose ends tied up now so I won't have to worry about it over the weekend.

Now, it's time to go get the baby out of her crib and play with her until Daddy gets home.
