Oh, and before I forget
Nov. 10th, 2002 10:21 pmWidget has developed the weirdest new little toddler quirk, and I'm not sure what to do about it, or if it's one that I should just let her ride out...
Almost everytime I tell her no or otherwise verbally discipline her, she smacks herself hard in the face, and then gives me this defiant look. It's very weird, and rather unsettling, especially when she does it front of other people or in public. For the record, I have never smacked her face, although I have slapped her hand a few times for infractions, so it's not something I've "taught" her to do, I don't think.
Thoughts? Any of you parents out there seen anything like this?
