The joy of working by yourself in the office is that no one gives you funny looks when you play "Flower" at top volume over and over because it helps you concentrate.
I'm out in the field this week. (Yes, I'm LJing from the motel. Oooh-ahhh.) I'm with a coworker, and we're set up in a little office--at the end of a corridor, but just across from the acting administrator's office.
Said coworker today is like, "So, shall I fire up some Eminem?" I'm like, "No, I don't think they'd appreciate it."
Although they are trying to set him up with one of the people in the office, so he can't be too upset about them. :)
Well, I'm pretty sure he wasn't being serious, but still, there are some things I just don't even joke about at the client's office. Plus, some things I'll close the door to talk about, either on the phone back to a manager or with the hospital employees.
