In 2003, I shall do my best to:
- Continue following Weight Watchers, at least until I am under 200 pounds. Maybe longer, depending on how I feel when I hit that milestone.
- Try to be better at my job. Even if I don't like it, I shouldn't blow it off nearly as much as I do.
- Get better at my current hobbies - stitching, cooking and gardening. I may still try and branch out, but I want to work on becoming a more competent and educated gardener and cook.
- Finish Elaine and rain's wedding sampler BEFORE their first anniversary, not matter HOW batty it makes me.
- Learn(relearn?) how to knit and/or crochet.
- Try to be a better friend, particularly in the sense of keeping in touch. I realized this past year that I had let lapse three friendships that were very important to me, and I want to try and fix those, as well as keeping my current friendships strong.
- Try to post here everyday, even if it's only a few lines. I want a more consistent record of my day-to-day life, even if it's kind of boring.
- Get a handle on finances. Not just in terms of trying to curtail frivolous spending, but also in terms of making concrete plans for the future. I want to figure out what our goals are, and figure out the best way to move towards them.
- I WILL turn 30 gracefully. Without crisis or fretting, and with all the people who matter to me in my life there to celebrate. This one is non-negotiable.
