My parents visited for a while today, since they were in town visiting my aunt and uncle anyway. Widget was her usual charming self - not that she has to work too hard to impress them, of course. She spent at least an hour playing her new favorite game. This would be the one where she says good-bye over and over to everything in the living room, then walks into the kitchen, and waits for us to say "Where's Hannah?", then runs screaming back into the living room. Repeat ad nauseum.

I cleaned up the back room of the house today - it's the least used room in the house (except for Imagy sleeping over) and so it collects cruft like no place else (except maybe the basement). It's still not perfect, but it's a lot better. Hopefully I didn't stir up too much dust for Miss Imagy.

Made roast beef in mushroom gravy over toast for dinner tonight. Much yumminess. Widget likes brussel sprouts so much that she was asking for them off my place. Sometimes she's a weird kid.

Wandered to the mall briefly this afternoon and didn't buy anything. I'm getting so cheap lately that I'm even hoarding my gift certificates. That or there was nothing good to buy. Hmmmmm.
