Our weekend was a pretty run of the mill weekend.
Wiley got up with Widget on Saturday, but I was pretty well awake by then, so I got up soon after. We wandered out to Walmart, because we had found we only had 5 diapers left in the house. Walmart on a Saturday is never a good idea. We came home to find that Wiley's mom had sent us fresh pecans from the tree in her front yard. Mmmmm. We vegged out, Widget napped, I went to the grocery store, came home and cooked dinner (pecan crusted honey-mustard pork tenderloin. Yummy.) There wasn't even anything good to watch on television, so I think we mostly just goofed off on the 'puters all evening.
Sunday, I don't think I actually left the house. I got up with Widget and Wiley joined us soon after. We lazed around, letting her watch Sesame Street while we read the paper, and did a bunch of nothing while she napped. Another family dinner Sunday night (Widget ate salmon!), then S&tC and Oz, and some stitching for me.
Just a nice, quiet weekend with the baby. Perfect winding down from the weekend.
