Merry Christmas!

I hope you all got to spend the holiday season with your nearest and dearest, whoever they may be!

We had a good Christmas. Kate's presents arrived on time, I got all the shopping done, and everything all wrapped up. Everyone seemed to like their gifts, I hope. Just a few more to trade with people at New Year's and then we're done.

Widget, as expected, cleaned up. Lots of cute new clothes, some good books and some fun toys. Of course, she liked the bows the best. Mmmmm, munchy!

I got gorgeous new earrings from the Wiley, and bunches of books and cd's from the Mom. And we got a George Foreman grill! Hee hee hee, thanks Kate! Oh yeah, and a maid-service visit from the bestest friend ever, Carrie

Now I'm successfully fighting off a case of the post-Christmas letdowns, thank goodness. Really random, the soundtrack from O Brother, Where Art Thou cheers me up. I should go buy the actual CD, I think.

I have more to write about the whole Christmas thing, but tonight, I think I want to go have some dinner, and read my new book about how to read a french fry. Merry Christmas

my mother gave me a George Foreman Grill last February. It is very, very keen. I adore it.

Try making hot dogs on it. They get lovely crisp outsides, and are just really good ;-)
