Such a delightful Sunday
Feb. 9th, 2003 02:32 pmGod, I feel so marvelously relaxed. I agreed to take the baby for most of yesterday so he could go snowboarding since we got a foot of snow, and in return he agreed to give me most of today to myself.
I slept in until 11:00, when Wiley brought me coffee. I stayed in bed until noon-ish reading One Hundred Years of Solitude, then took a long luxurious 45 minute long shower, doing everything I never have time to do... shaving, exfoliating, pumiceing, the works. It makes me feel all pampered and clean, and I love it.
Widget just went down for her nap, so now I have an hour or two to myself some more before she gets up, then I cook dinner for everyone, and then I get to go see The Pianist with my
lorac at my favoritest theatre in Hingham.
Best of all, since I slept through breakfast, I can use those points for popcorn tonight, and still bank points against last Thursday's day of doom.
