I continue to be astounded by the rate at which Widget is gaining language skills. Yesterday, I was working on the laptop in my bedroom. When she came upstairs to take her nap, I came out to give her a goodbye hug, and she looked past me into the bedroom, and said "Momma work 'puter bed!"

Wow. That's almost a real whole sentence. Nifty, eh?

woah. I'm sure you get tired of hearing this kind of thing, but it really does seem like just last week that she got here. My tiny brain can't handle the idea of her talking fluently yet. :)

Well, to call it fluent would be quite a stretch - she still needs a translator most of the time because her pronunciation isn't really there yet. But she's getting better at it every day. And it practically was just yesterday that she got here - they just learn SO FAST.
