1. What's the best thing about living in Boston?
Without a doubt, the people that we are blessed to have as a part of our lives here. Not just the members of the TIM crowd that has grown into some of my closest friends, but all the people that Wiley grew up with who have turned into a huge extended family for us.

2. What's the worst?
All the rest of the people. Seriously. We have all these wonderful resources and activities, but I end up so daunted or frustrated by the crowds that throng to them that I end up skipping it, or not enjoying it. The incredible crowded-ness has caused housing costs to soar to that even on a 6 figure income, Wiley and I could only afford to live 20 miles out of the city in a tiny place, and makes traffic and getting into the city nigtmarish.

3. TIMsters have come and gone, but you are one of those who stay on - what keeps you on TinyTIM?
There's a lot of people on TIM that I really do like, but that I don't know well enough to keep in touch with through other methods, because I am both lazy, busy and in some ways, too shy to do so, but who's company I enjoy and I like "hanging out" with. I stay on because it's the best way to keep involved with them.

4. Cutest Widget story?
Oooooh, I don't think I can pick just one. I don't know about cutest, but I think the funniest is still probably my dad putting her down for a nap with only a diaper, and her deciding to create a poop mural of herself and her crib.

5. Thinking of having another child?
Not anytime soon (knocking on wood in the hopes the gods aren't listening). I'm hoping to start grad school in January, and that plan hinges on our expenses staying stable, quite likely being able to put Widget in a regular pre-school next April, and my having the time to continue working and take classes. Having another baby would derail those plans for another 2-3 years, and that would break my heart. We've talked about maybe trying to adopt a slightly older child in a few years since a. I like the 2-3 years age gap between kids, we're both enjoying the toddler years more than the baby years, and I really do want Widget to have a brother or sister. I see other families out on the playground and such, and it makes me sad to think that she wouldn't have that kind of relationship in her life.
