Widget's decided she likes the rhyme "The Owl and the Pussycat", so we've been reading it a lot these days. Once of the lines of said poem states that they "ate with a runcible spoon".

I've been wondering for a week or so just what a runcible spoon is, so today I looked it up. And the answer is? It's a SPORK.

No, seriously, m-w.com defines it as "a sharp-edged fork with three broad curved prongs". Sounds like a spork to me!

No--you're right. I looked it up a long time ago as well.

I am forced to add 'runcible spoons' as an interest.
