Yay and Boo!

I checked out my little strawberry plants yesterday, and was very very excited to see that I have actual little berries on the plants. They're still tiny and green, but there's hope for them!

I'm not so sure about the rest of the veggies - they seem a little disheartened by all the rain and lack of good sunshine. Some of them are showing what look like signs of overwatering. Sigh. I hope they can get a little dried out over the weekend.

You're lucky.

Liz and I have some strawberries, but the rain has caused most the berries to get moldy on the stem just before they're ripe!

Very frustrating.

I've planted mine in a strawberry jar, so the berries aren't anywhere near the soil (most of them are hanging in midair), and they seem to be weathering the rain so far. I hope they keep it up - I'm looking forward to fresh off the plant strawberries.
