Well, most of you will know some of these, but I don't think anyone will know all of them.
1. I found my first grey hair when I was 16.
2. I'm the oldest of four kids. I had a third brother who died at 13 months old when I was four.
3. Given a choice of snacks, I'll always choose salty/savory over sweet and gooey. And if there's one on the menu, I'll always choose the cheese plate for dessert.
4. I met my husband when I was 18... on my first weekend at college.
5. I was not trying to get pregnant when I did.
6. I have a large limited edition Dr.Suess print on the wall in my office. It's nearly doubled in value since I bought it, but I don't think I could part with it.
7. When I was a kid, I thought I wasn't a cat person.
8. I thought at one time that I wanted to be a teacher. It was the other teachers, not the kids, who chased me out of it.
9. I wrote an honors thesis about Margret Sanger, and whether or not she was truly either a Socialist or a eugenicist. I decided she wasn't.
10. I'm happiest when I'm working with my hands - crafting, gardening, cleaning, stuff like that.
11. I love mystery novels better than any other genre. But I hate it when I can figure out the ending early, so I'm pretty picky about what I read.
12. I got married at Sturbridge Village. Think Williamsburg, but smaller, and in New England.
13. I have absolutely no head for languages. Having taken both Spanish and French, now ANY attempt to use either results in terrible Frenish coming out of my head.
14. I hiked to the top of Mt. Washington when I was 7, and the bottom of the Grand Canyon when I was 12.
15. More of my friends are people that I met on-line than people I met through everyday life.
