Loverly day

sierciaGot up with little moss, fed her and dressed her and such, then packed her off with Daddy for apple picking and pony rides at Merine Lookout Farm in Natick. Then I got dressed and ready for shopping in Providence with Miss Shani.
We hit Nordstroms and Lord and Taylor and Filene's and Origins and Old Navy. She got some h.o.t. boots, and some loafers, and I got some new black shoes, and a cute stripey sweater and stripey shirt. We had a lovely lunch at the Napa Grille, which featured lots and lots of cheeeeeese. So lovely, so relaxing. It's been ages since I've had unfettered time to mall wander with company.
Came home, found out WIley had plans for the evening that I'd forgotten about, and so he headed out and left me with Miss Widget for the evening. Since it was latish, and we were on our own, and I wasn't that hungry I just made a sandwich and some veggies for Widget, and we had a kitchen floor picnic. We spread a blanket out on the kitchen floor, and had a bear and a horse join us, and ate on the floor. We made sure that the bear and horse got their share of the food and then cuddled over cookies. It was simply delightful.
After that we watched Blue's Clues snuggled up in bed, and bedtime. Now I'm just chilling with the house to myself, waiting for Wiley to bring me some dinner home, watching one of my favorite movies ever, Parenthood.
