sierciaI'm watching Widget chase the balls from her crawl-n-cruise playground all around the room. They're just big enough that she has trouble picking them up, and slippery enough that they skitter fast and far when she loses them, and she just keeps doggedly following them around. Far better than Friday and yesterday when the frustration made her cry.
It's much easier to take care of her now, when she can crawl around, and amuse herself, and I just have to keep an eye on her, knowing that the room is mostly baby safe, and the only real bad thing she can do is pull herself to standing and topple over. Which isn't to say that playing with her isn't fun, but that it's nice to get the occasional break from it. Of course, she's still sick today, so every little while she crawls over to me and pulls up, asking for a quick cuddle before she goes back to playing. I'm starting to see why this age is the almost universal favorite.
