Real friends bring you fish

No really. They do!

halleyscomet and whuffle came over tonight, and they brought me three goldfish! Complete with a full tank setup and everything. I'm very excited. It was soooo nice to visit with them both too. It's been ages since I saw either of them, and it was great to get caught up. NOt to mention the whole thing where I like talking to grown-ups.

This cold seems to have doubled back and whacked Widget good and hard. So once again, a day full of whining and mournful cries of "snot monster, mommy, snot monster". (And of course, I'd told Imagy she could leave early today. Grrrr) I just hope she sleeps through the night.

Note to God: It's not a good evolutionary technique to make children their most annoying at the moments they need their parents the most. Really. Think about it.

I'm beat. should go hit the hay myself.

As a side note, you left a purse in my car! We need to get back together with you to return it. whuffle looked inside and saw a set of car keys and an allergy pen, but says she didn't see anything else of importance.
