Nov. 25th, 2003 12:18 amOh man. This is just dead on.
I'm thirty years old, I've never not had Thanksgiving with my *own* family, and now I have to go to New York to have Thanksgiving with his family. And I know, grown up mature people don't have screaming tantrums on the floor over one stupid holiday, but I just know it's going to be all wrong. *sigh*

Date: 2003-11-25 07:37 am (UTC)Second of all, I totally understand. It is weird to have stuff not be the same as it is SUPPOSED to be. If it helps, one thing I did when we spent Thanksgiving with William's family is I made one of my favorite Thanksgiving foods so that at least SOMETHING was how I liked it. Not much of the rest of it was! Stupid chipolte pumpkin pie.
