I really like it when our software actually *works*. Mostly this happens when people don't try to make our server tapdance on a highwire while doing all it's little server-y goodness. The people here continue to be a delight to work with. I found good coffee between my hotel and the paper, and got to go there twice today (Yay!)

Admin training, done. half the user training, done. Waiting on developers for two crucial bits of code for optimal happiness from the customers. Worked most of the hours they had planned for me, then was struck with a blistering headache (migraine???) at about 4:30, when they wanted me until 9 pm. Toughed it out through the actual training, then nearly cried with relief when the project lead decided I didn't need to stay to provide assistance or anything, since they seemed to be all set. Staggered back to the hotel, called Widget to say good night, then slept for more than an hour. Woke up feeling MUCH better.

Hopefully, the software I need shows up tomorrow morning and we can get that going, then all will be well. Librarian training tomorrow, then they go live on the system Thursday. I don't think I've ever had a site go live on the system the same week we delivered it. This is exciting!

I am absolutely dying to know -- what system did you deliver to a library? It's not the one I've been bitching about for several months, is it?
