Why?

Why am I even reading this?

I had a subscription to Mode magazine. I hadn't actually done more than skim it in a year or so, but I figured I might as well keep the subscription until it ran out, you know?

Then the magazine folded, and suddenly, I started getting Woman's Day instead. Bleah. I even called and said, god, you can keep my money, just stop sending the damn things, and they said they couldn't do that, so I'm stuck with it until September. That was bad enough. What's really bad is that I've started reading thiem. Please, someone stop me before I become a danger to myself and others.

Because getting and reading Martha wasn't bad enough.

Yay shopping!

Went to the mall today... I love love love clearance sales, especially when they happen halfway through a given season. Picked myself up a cute new t-shirt from Elisabeth, and a sleeveless black sweater that looked so cute. Then over to Bed Bath and Beyond to get a shower cutain, and all the accoutrements of that. We need to take the shower doors down to be able to bath Widget in the tub, so a shower curtain was needed BEFORE we tackle that project. I'll be so happy to see that ugly nasty thing go away, too. Whee!

There's not much else of note or interest going on, so I'll just hush up now.

I just watched the A Makeover Story where they did over Ty and Amy from Trading Spaces. For all you Amy fans out there *cough*smurfchick*cough* you should watch this. Much Amy prancing about in skimpy dresses. And Ty in a couple of sheer shirts too, for you, imagine77.

Reading smurfchick's post about geocaching makes me really really want to try it. I looked up on the site, and found that it looks like there may be a couple already in Great Esker park, so I think we may strap Widget into her backpack and go looking for them tomorrow. Sounds like fun, and it'll be a good way to work off some of the Dim Sum I'm going to consume. We can see how good Wiley's GPS is, and put it to good use.
