Calling yummy recipes!

So, we have this delightful neighbor that not once, but twice came by and ran his snowblower through the enormous piles of snow in our driveway. I'd like to make him some cookies, or other yummy baked treat to say thank you, but I lack any tried-and-true recipes that I know will turn out well.

So, anyone out here in LJ land have anything they would recommend?
