Let's see..

Got Miss Widget packed off with Grandpa this afternoon. He's taking her for most of the weekend, since he got her tickets to go see Sesame Street Live tomorrow. He even picked her up, so there was no 4 hour round trip price to pay for the weekend of solitude. She was so excited to spend the weekend at Grandpa's, she was talking about it all morning. And, man she looked so cool sitting in the back of Dad's sportscar, with her drink in one hand and her sunglasses on. She was ready to rock and roll.

So, we ended up going to see Kill Bill with Imagy and Damian tonight. Exquisitely violent (ick) but also visually stunning, and interesting. I'll go see the next one when it comes out, I expect. Tomorrow we're going out to Northampton to visit a friend, and see the Rhymes with Orange exhibit, and maybe have dinner at La Cazuela.

Sunday, Wiley WAS going to be packing and getting ready for his trip. However since his office messed up his visa stuff, he's now not leaving until Tuesday. So I don't know what we'll be doing on Sunday. Dad's bringing Widget back, but not sure what time.

I'm starting to get a wee bit nervous about the upcoming single parenting gig that this trip is going to mean. I'm sure we'll both get through it just fine, but I have a feeling I'm going to be completely exhausted by the time Wiley comes home. Hopefully, there'll be minimal meltdowns while he's gone.
