Lessee....
Good news at work. We landed a major sale that we've been holding our breath on for a while. And they bought us (not very good) pizza to celebrate.
I have a babysitter today, so no trying to juggle work and baby.
Spent most of the morning looking at tattoos, looking for something to start designing my next tattoo from. I know kinda what I want, and my brother's going to take a stab at drawing something for me. Of course, looking at all the pictures, I found about 17 other things I could do instead. Yay confusion.
I got more RAM for both my computers.
I downloaded a bunch of Dar Williams songs. I'm not sure how I've managed to never listen to her before this, but I'm glad I checked her out.
Wiley says I can repaint my living room and dining room this spring. Now I just need to figure out what color to do it. This is an important question to consider. Ack. Hopefully I won't get completely frozen by indecision, the way I usually manage to do.
We may be getting cripple boy back at work. This *might* keep me out of the pager rotation, and might mean Miss Shani gets to come work in my office, even if our boss thinks we won't work well together. Harumph to that, I say!
And Miss Shani's coming over for Indian food and Buffy tonight. Whee!
I need someone to talk me out of my fear of getting my tongue pierced, because I desperately want it, but am so squicked at the thought of it hurting, or making my tongue swell up or something stupid like that. But it's so fabulous, and looks so good, and would be so unexpected in my mouth. Damn my timid nature!
And the dreaded George has arrived, which means my brief flash into super cranky-and-blah jenn yesterday was probably just a good healthy dose of PMS, which is heartening.
However, if my Doctor's office doesn't call me back soon about this damn IUD, I'm going to blow them up. Dammit.
Wow, this is a spectacularly manic post. Oh well.

Date: 2002-01-22 03:33 pm (UTC)I've had mine for 6 years and counting now. I am such a trendsetter.
Wow
Date: 2002-01-22 08:20 pm (UTC)Tongue piercing - I'm all for it. You have it on good faith from friends that it doesn't hurt, and if it does, you can punch me a lot, or something.
George/PMS - I should have thought of that, I thought you were just looking for an excuse to kill me.
Doctor's Office? Don't blow them up, just phone-bomb them. Call them every hour. :)

I need a reason? Are you sure? I'm sorry I was psychotic on Monday.

Unfortunately, all that'll do is piss them off and ensure that they NEVER call me back. And that'll do us know good. I will however call them again today and see if she's made any damn headway. Bleah.
