So, I get to repaint all the spaces in my house that are green. This means the living room, dining room, stairway, and little space by the cellar stairs and pantry closet. It all has to match the sofa we just bought (it's called tobacco, it's a light brown with slight grey undertones), my cd rack (greyish metal, but mostly hidden) and wine rack (Cherry wood; could potentially be painted). Everything else in the rooms either needs to be bought, is getting replaced, or getting slipcovered.

I have no idea what I wnt, other than that I want the main color to be a fairly light neutral. I don't know the shade, I have no idea what to do with the trim, or the smaller areas, or anything else.

As usual, I want it to be just perfect, and I'm frozen in place thinking I'll never get it the way Iwant it, even when I don't know what I want. Ack!

Anyone have any thoughts?

Heh heh

how 'bout a warm chocolate color or perhaps a cranberry/burgundy color to warm up the room?

Got any pictures? Maybe I could offer some ideas if I could see the colors and furniture. Maybe I'm just too fuzzy to focus. Vicodin will do that to you. :D

Isn't the latest fashion something along the lines of having a really bright colour on one wall, possibly sponge painted on, and a light muted colour on the other?

Or is that just so 2001?
