I don't know what I want, and I'm tired of not knowing.

Are you all tired of listening to me whine yet?

Why do people nearly always choose the wrong bit if information to seize on?

And dammit, I am tired of paying $80 a month for cable and wanting to watch two shows a week, and almost never seeing anything else that I want to watch ever.

I should just go to bed.

I hope this mis-seized information isn't referring to me, but it very well could be. If so, I'm sorry I misinterpreted. And, I can call the Satellite people, get us cheaper cable if you want. We never decided....

I'm happy with DirecTV now. $45 a month for 2 units and all the cable-like channels. $12 more gets me 7 HBOs.

Ooh, and you can get one of their DirecTivo units for an extra $5/month. Those use the picture-in-picture feed to record two channels at once. Pretty spiffy.

They also don't bill like they're a utility. What they quote you is what's on the bill, not like ComCast, whose bills look like phone service.
