Widget pics!

I took these pictures of Miss Widget the other day, since I figured I should try and document the haircut before it got completely grown out.




Not only do you see Widget, you see one of my new bookcases, our cat, and Wiley's coolest lego car! And Widget's tongue.






This kid has some of the funniest facial expressions on the planet. I should try to capture her surprised look for y'all. Instead today we'll take two contemplatives.



I love the haircut. It's been much easier to care for, and doesn't require that she wear her hair up every day. It's definitely time to go back for a trim, though.

Crap, I meant to email you about 3 million years ago about that. Thank you SO MUCH for inviting us, but of course we won't be there. Sadly. :(

As for travel plans, we're driving up. We're leaving Columbus on Friday night (April 31st) - we both have to work, and Jen gets out at 6. So we'll go as long as we can, and stay overnight somewhere, and then get up early in the AM and continue driving. We'll call you and keep you posted on that Saturday.

That should be just fine - I'm going to be in bridesmaid chaos, apparently starting around 9am on Saturday, so you should plan on having Mr. Wiley be your main point of contact for Saturday. I'll make sure your room is all ready so you can come back and crash whenever you need, since I bet you'll be dead on your feet by the end of Saturday.

I will make sure I have all necessary phone numbers before we leave Ohio... that way if we can't reach you, or even Wiley, we have other contingency people. Worst case scenario, we stop at my dad's to change into wedding duds, and then meet up with you at the soiree.
