SSDD. Next?
May. 20th, 2004 10:21 pmMs Arwen posted earlier about it being a complete SSDD kind of a day. All I can add is an AND HOW.
Was rather short with a co-worker today who's a nice guy, he just doesn't know our system well enough yet. As a result he's been bugging me all week with things he should know how to do. Now I feel bad because it's completely not his fault we don't train people. Hell, half the reason I was short with him is because he was asking me to help him setup something I've never actually set up.
There's all kinds of things going on at the office, and I'm not involved in any of it. When I ask people how I can help, they don't need any. All that gets left is the boring crappy work, and it's boring and crappy. And half the time I can't work up the enthusiasm to actually work on it, because it's boring and crappy.
Oh well. Unless someone wants to pay me to knit, I don't see a better choice anywhere.
