This whole riding to work thing would be far better if it hadn't resulted in my being locked out of the house when I got home because I streamlined my keychain (assuming there would be people here when I came back). Completely forgot about it when Wiley mentioned he was running out to the mall.

Thank goodness for laptops and wireless internet that reaches the front porch.

(uhm, and what inspired you to take the key to the house off your chain? I mean, what happens if you get sick in the middle of the afternoon...even if they're supposed to be home, they could go to the store or the park....)

It was nice out, so I just sat on the front porch with ye olde laptop and chilled. Twas fine.

And to be honest, the getting sick in the middle of the day never even really occurred to me. I think I've been sick enough to leave work early twice in the past three years.. Even so, though, Imagy doesn't drive, so if I got here and they weren't, the only places they'd be likely to be would be the park right down the street or the playground.

And you know, worst case scenario, I'd wait in the car for them to show up.
