We had the house re-appraised today. After seeing that crummier houses in worse locations (near busy streets etc.) in our neighborhood are listing and selling for over what we need to achieve the magical 20% equity to get rid of our PMI, we figured we might as well take the plunge and do it. If it does actually come back around where the appraiser thought it would, I will be staggered. And we'll start saving $150 a month. Woot.

We should hear tomorrow.
